Pastors Chris and Carol Ball

Chris Ball is a graduate of Elim Bible Institute in Lima, NY and is General Secretary of Elim Fellowship. He has been serving since 1998 as Elim's Syracuse Area Representative and has recently been apointed as an Elder of Elim Fellowship.

Chris has served as Sr. Pastor of Lighthouse Community Fellowship in South Butler, NY since 1988 and has watched the church grow from 35 to over 350 in Sunday morning attendance.

Because of his heart for leadership, Chris has been instrumental in facilitating conferences here in the central NY region for such leaders as John Maxwell, Bill Hybels, and Jack Hayford. Second only to his own church, Chris has a tremendous love for pastors and their ministries and endeavors to be a resource that encourages leaders in the body of Christ to become all they can be in the will of God.

Carol Ball is also a graduate of Elim Bible Institute and is Sr. Pastor of Lighthouse Community Fellowship. In this role she preaches, teaches, and leads worship. She has also spoken and ministered prophetically in conferences, both nationally and internationally.

Carol currently serves as the WILLOW Area Representative for the Syracuse Area and as the WILLOW Regional Representative for the central NY region.

Carol flows in worship and prophetic ministry and brings a message of purpose and destiny to God's people. She has a burden to see them, particularly women, come into a deeper devotion to Christ and to fulfill their God-ordained purposes and callings as they walk in the fullness of His Kingdom.

Chris and Carol have ministered together in marriage retreats and leadership retreats in both the United States and around the world. They have 3 children: Sarah, Josiah, and Elijah and live in Conquest, NY.

Pastor Derek and Michelle Loperfido

Pastor Derek and Michelle are graduates of Elim Bible Institute of Lima, NY and have been at Lighthouse since 2000. They both have a heart to see people passionate about God and moving in their gifts. Pastor Derek and Michelle also lead Ignite, a ministry geared towards those between the ages of 19 and 39 .

Derek serves as the Assistant Pastor here at LCF and in his free time, he likes to go fly-fishing and hunting.

Michelle, who is the Assistant Worship Leader, sings and plays the piano on the Worship Team and also leads worship for Ignite.

Derek and Michelle have three children, Abigail, Maryn, and Evan.

Elders

Bob and Gail Deming have served as Elders at Lighthouse Community Fellowship for many years. Bob makes his living in the business world and brings a wealth of wisdom to the ministry. Gail is also the director of the prayer ministry at LCF.

Together they serve as Pastoral Care Pastors here at LCF where they serve the needs of the congregation in such areas as healing and deliverance. 

They have a passion for missions and have been all over the world serving the Lord and witnessing miracles. They have a grown daughter and reside in Red Creek, NY.

Elders

Terry and Lynn Furman have served as Elders at Lighthouse Community Fellowship for a number of years. They are owner-operators of their own communications business and serve their local community in numerous ways. Lynn is also the director of LCF's Missions Task Force.

They have traveled to several foreign lands on missions teams and have a passion for children. Terry and Lynn have 2 grown children and live in Savannah, NY.

Youth Pastors

Randy and Danette Lyons have been attending Lighthouse since September of 2005 and have been working with the youth group since March of 2006.

As youth pastors, their desire is to see the youth have a passion for Christ that is evident in their daily lives.

On a personal note, Randy enjoys hunting, fishing, and working out. Danette enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and cooking.

Randy and Danette have two children, A.J. and Rachel.

Children's Director

Jen Strazzabosco has been attending LCF since December of 1998 and committed her life to Christ in January of 1999. Soon after, she became an active member of the church and started helping out in Kids Church.

Now, as Children's Director, her vision is that kids will be transformed in a safe place where they feel loved, are actively involved, and have fun while receiving creative, relevant teaching of the Bible and apply it to their daily lives. She is so glad that she is able to serve the children and the children's workers. To Jen, it is a calling and not a job.

In her free time, Jen enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys photography, scrapbooking, and travel. Some of her favorite places are Brazil, North Carolina, and the Adirondacks.

Jen and her husband, Jesse have three children between them and currently reside in Lyons, NY

Treasurer

Diane Abraham has been attending Lighthouse since 1987 and has been the Treasurer/Accountant for the church since November of 1999.

Diane, who is also a Registered Nurse, works as a nursing consultant during the week.

She and her husband, John, have 2 grown sons and 3 grandchildren and live in Weedsport, NY.

Administrative Assistant

Cindy Ryan has been attending Lighthouse Community Fellowship since 1997 and has served as the Administrative Assistant since 2003. She brings many years of secretarial and creative arts experience to the job.  While not working Cindy loves riding motorcycles and traveling.  She lives in North Rose, NY.  Together with her husband, Tom, they have 5 children, 7 grandchildren.

Director of Grounds and Maintenance

Jody Ceratt has been Director of Grounds and Maintenance since 2006. He brings years of hands-on construction and management skills to the position. He and his wife, Janet, have been attending LCF since 1993.

Jody and Janet recently spent 2-1/2 years working with Joyce Meyer Ministries in MO, returning to Central New York to take care of family.  They are also certified foster parents and have welcomed 2 young brothers into their home.

Jody enjoys putting his talents and spare time to good use around the home with home improvement projects. The Ceratts have been married for over a quarter of a century and have 3 kids and 6 grandchildren, 2 of whom they are raising full-time.
